- I have been stitching for more than 25 years. I enjoy the soothing repetition of motion while watching a beautiful design take shape before my eyes. Starting with cross stitch, I quickly branched out into other counted work, lace making, then silk ribbon embroidery. Several years ago after suffering a catastrophic spinal cord injury which left me with many hours of solitude and few outlets of expression, I began exploring crazy quilting and has been studying other art quilts, embellished Baltimore Album quilting, and textile landscapes more recently. Currently I am hard at work researching more glorious crazy quilts - keep watch for upcoming publications and workshops based on my findings. I now live in lovely upstate NY, with my stitching partner, Katie the Kat. I recently returned to working in the healthcare field.
